An older work of mine from 2007. It's one I particularly like. It hangs in pride of place in my living room. I never tire of looking at it and the ever changing light of the day reveals subtle changes and highlights giving it a differing mood. I also enjoy feeling it. Yes, simply running my hand over the textured surface.
Revealing Self 2007
I've done some similar work, but am feeling the need to revisit this theme and do a few more and perhaps create a whole series. You know that nagging feeling? The itch that must be scratched!

Much texturing with many colour washes in layers added and washed off to reveal the patchy layering.
